At Vobelle, every piece is created with a slow, intentional process that’s the opposite of fast fashion.
Starting with the Yarn
Every creation begins with the yarn. We dye and ply 100% merino wool in small batches to create our own unique yarns. These yarns are softer, woollier, and more durable than commercial wool yarns, perfect for pieces worn close to the skin, like scarves, cowls, and beanies.
The Knitting
Once the yarn is ready, the knitting begins.
Every piece is handmade in my studio, allowing me to maintain a personal, hands-on connection to the product, something mass production can’t achieve.
Finishing Touches
After knitting, each item is gently washed with wool wash soap, blocked, and let to air dry. This finishing process helps the wool settle into its final form, enhancing the texture and bloom.
The result is a collection of knitwear that embodies thoughtfulness and craftsmanship, offering warmth, comfort, and timeless style.
